The Associated Students of The University of Arizona (ASUA) offers a wide variety of programs and services that students can both help organize and utilize. These programs range from planning carnivals, raising funds for scholarships, and representing student concerns to the state legislature. Also, ASUA is responsible for the well being of the near 500 clubs and organizations that make up the campus environment. All students are urged to get involved with the student government.

There is one legislative body, the ASUA Senate, a student body president, and two vice-presidents, an Administrative Vice President, and an Executive Vice President. numerous programs and services are offered along with a presidential cabinet appointments.

Within each entity of ASUA, a student serves as the director and other students work as chairpersons and staff members. Every program and service is constantly looking for enthusiastic students to help. And many Senators compile a staff to work on particular issues.

Spring Fling is the largest student-run carnival in the nation. Each year, over 3,000 University of Arizona students volunteer to bring fun and excitement to the Tucson community.
The mission of ASUA Spring Fling is to provide a mechanism for funding of UA clubs and organizations through an annual student- run carnival.
