The Arizona Students' Association is an organization directed and funded by Arizona's public university students. ASA works to make sure that higher education in Arizona is affordable and accessible by advocating to elected officials and running issue campaigns to engage students. While ASA is most well known for lobbying efforts concerning tuition increases and differential fees, it is also responsible for much more including publication of teacher evaluations, student participation on administration advisory committees, and the community action grant. http://azstudents.org/
 

Academic Affairs works directly with members of the Faculty to change academic policies on campus so that the academic environment will always be most beneficial to the students at UA. In addition, the Academic Affairs Director works with the President to implement academic resources that will help students succeed in their academic endeavors and improve their overall academic awareness.  Contact Lindsay Hartgraves

The Outreach & Development Director aims to increase and maintain a strong network and connection with the University alumni. This is done through various outlets such as an alumni focused events during Homecoming, the Alumni Advisory Board, the Spring Scholarship Gala as well as working with several boards and committees within the University and various groups of Alumni.  Contact Emily Coulouras

The Communications Director is responsible for handling all ASUA communication both externally to the student body and internally between the three branches of student government. In order to do so, the Communications Director manages the ZonaCast podcast on iTunes U, weekly ASUA Newsletter, weekly ASUA blog, the ASUA Facebook and Twitter accounts and is a vital member of the ASUA Marketing Team. The Safety Director is tasked with any and all student affairs on campus that directly relate to student well being and security. By promoting relations with the University and its affiliates, the Safety Director strives to ensure that everyone feels secure on campus through events including the Annual Safety Fair and serving as member of Campus Emergency Response Team. Contact Chris Stump.



The ZonaZoo is a student organization that aims to encourage and raise school spirit on the UA campus. ZonaZoo works directly with the director of Arizona Athletics to address issues regarding student spirit on campus, and oversees the ZonaZoo student section at UA sporting events. In addition, ASUA ZonaZoo works continuously to provide programming to raise spirit level, such as providing tailgates for the entire student body, road trips to games at other schools and many other techniques to bring about an exuberant Student Body that sings “Bear Down” in their sleep.

ASUA Treasurer is in charge of setting and maintaining the ASUA budget for the Fiscal Year. The ASUA Treasurer works directly with the other Executive Officers in ASUA to maintain each account throughout the year and prepares a weekly updated budget, which is presented at Senate meetings. The WEB is a student run organization that provides educational, entertaining and thought provoking events for the University of Arizona. These events are generally free for all students and offer a great source of fun entertainment on campus. The Marketing Directors work with all aspects of the ASUA public relations and branding while utilizing the latest in technology and marketing strategies.  There is a Media Director, a Branding Director, Communications Director and a Web Development Director.  Together they all make up a Team that aims to promote and educate the campus community on day to day functions of our organization.  Contact Andrew Chaifetz.

The Elections Commissioner conducts the general elections held for ASUA in the spring. And maintains that the elections are run fairly by overseeing all campaigning by the candidates. If there is a change that requires a special election, the Commissioner conducts and oversees a special election. The Elections Commissioner works actively with the Deputy Elections Commissioner to recruit potential qualified candidates while managing the elections code and adhering to proper policies.
